Central Instruments laboratory is the central facility with state-of-the-art analytical instruments to fulfill the needs of the faculty and research scholars in the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences. Central Instrumentation Facility is well equipped with high-value sophisticated instruments.

The university also has medical facilities for its students in cases of emergencies. The medical room has a first-aid box as well.

Scholarships

Scholarships are given at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University(KVASU) and other affiliated colleges in the following way:

KVASU provides scholarships to all the top 10% of meritorious students in each batch of the undergraduate program.

A maximum of 12 merit cum means scholarships are given to financially backward students of each undergraduate batch of B.V.Sc.&A.H .and B.Tech. (Dairy Sci. 8c Tech.) of all colleges under KVASU.

Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) are awarded to the students admitted to postgraduate and Ph.D. courses. Research grants are given to these students.

The university disperses around 2.70 crores per annum in the form of various scholarships, fellowships, and assistantships.

Admission

Admission to all the courses at KVASU is strictly Entrance-Based. Candidates will have to appear and qualify for a relevant entrance exam. The entrance accepted for the courses is as follows:

For B.V.Sc & AH you need to qualify for the NEET-UG exam.

For B.Tech, the students are required to give the KEAM (Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical) exam which is conducted by the CEE (Commissioner of Entrance Exams) or they can give AIEEA UG.

For Admission into B.Sc and PG courses, you need to appear in the exam conducted by the university itself.

Selection in all the P.G Diploma courses and Ph.D. programs is done completely based on marks obtained in the written exam conducted by the university, and afterward, an interview followed by counseling.
