Established under British rule in 1935, Lady Keane College was a pioneer of women's education in North East India. With a legacy spanning more than eight decades of turbulent existence, the college has a very notable track record dedicated to the uplift and empowerment of women through the dissemination of a liberal education. Today's institution is in many ways synonymous with the socio-economic changes taking place in the region and beyond. Our commitment to quality was recognized when this independent umbrella organization responsible for assessing and accrediting the country's higher education institutions accredited our college three times as the college prepares for its fourth round of assessments.

Physics, Diploma in Tourism & Travel Management, Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM), Diploma in Fashion Design, Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management; Bachelor of Computer Applications. Hostels: 

Lady Keane Girls Hostel is located on the college campus. The cornerstone of Lady Keane Girls' School and Dormitory (Chand Saharani House) was laid on February 27, 1937. The Home is administered by the Home Committee under the supervision and direction of the Board of Trustees. 

Library: 

Lady Keane College Library, established when the college was founded in 1935, is well stocked with books; Reference and text materials, periodicals, magazines, newspapers, competition reading material, and CDs for use and lending by students, teachers, and staff. The library, the heart of the institution, is a repository of knowledge and satisfies the information needs of all users. To enrich the library, each year a different department proposes and recommends the inclusion of valuable works on different subjects. Reprographics and Internet equipment are provided to users. The library is automated using Integrated Library Management Software (ILMS) for easy access. Library services are automated with software used for search, reporting, sharing, OPAC, and other functions. Barcodes are also integrated into the system. 

Cafeteria: 

Lady Keane College has two cafeterias.The canteen is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. [except Sundays].On public holidays or special occasions, the canteen is open until the end of the festival. The Cafeteria offers healthy food, tea, and snacks at prices duly approved by the College. The canteen committee set up by the university authorities has the task of monitoring the good management of the canteens and admonishing the dean in the event of poor management. Complaints and suggestions are welcome to improve the overall service and provide good service to everyone's satisfaction.
