The college was established in 1970 jointly by the Osmania Graduates’ Association and Exhibition Society, Hyderabad with two sections of pre-university courses in Arts & Commerce and one section of B.A & B.Com. The college was shifted to the present sprawling campus spread over an area of 25 acres in 1972.

Lal Bahadur College, Warangal is easily accessible to all as it is centrally located in an ideal environment between Hanamkonda and Warangal towns. The college has tidy natural surroundings with scenic beauty and picturesque atmosphere which promotes healthy attitude among the students.

Facilities and Infrastructure

It is, not to the museum, or the lecture-room, or the drawing-school, but to the library, that we must go for the completion of our humanity. It is books that bear from age to age the intellectual wealth of the world. At our college library there exist a large number of reference books, Journals & Encyclopedias that provide information about wide ranging subjects for students to understand the concepts in their curriculum. The reference books often provide in depth information about various subjects and thus help in the process of education. Every student has the chance of utilizing the library facility in an extensive manner.

The College has a well-guarded Women's Hostel in the College premises with a capacity to accommodate 105 students. The hostel is well furnished with spacious rooms and good ventilation. In addition, there is a separate mess facility with a spacious dining hall which can accommodate 150 students at a time.

Cafeteria plays a vital role in removing tensions and refreshing students. The college has the facility of spacious, clean and hygienic cafeteria that caters to the taste of all students. It provides enough and delicious food items at affordable price. The cafeteria is open on all working days. It provides all types of nutritious and hygienic eatables and beverages to cater to the students, staff and visitors.

Sports and games play an important role in the physical and mental development of any person. Games and sports symbolize the youth of a nation. They keep the nation young as they keep the people young. The intellectual growth of a nation too depends upon its physical health. Sports and games help in building up not only a healthy body but also a healthy mind. In College we do have regular sports of various kinds such as Volley Ball, Basketball, foot ball, tennikoit, shuttle cock, tug of war and Cricket.

Placement Cell

The college started its Placement Cell in the year 2011, since then it has been actively working for career guidance and recruitment of the students. The Placement Cell serves as a medium of interaction between students and the corporate world. It has always been a guiding force for the students and helped them to work on their skills, aptitudes, strengths and weaknesses. The vision of the Placement Cell has always been to guide the students for the enrichment of lives and the fulfilment of their dreams. A large number of our students have been recruited by various reputed companies such as Wipro, Wase Programme, Jaypee, Google, TATA Consultancy Services, Essar, HDFC, Deloitte, HDFC Life Insurance, IBM, Daksh, Prori wifi, Aircel and etc.
