Libra College of Law was established in the year 2006 with the aim to impart intensive and extensive quality education in the field of Law by adopting modern and practical Teaching and Training Techniques and also develop the round personality of the students and inoculate them with the discipline, personal character-physical, moral and ethical so that they can become better and useful citizens and also be confident and bold to accept the challenges in the field of Law, be it Judiciary, Corporate World or the Law Courts.

Set amidst a sprawling green campus in the heart of Dehradun, it offers students a holistic environment that encourages exposure to social, cultural, and physical activities that complement the top-of-the-class legal education imparted by the college. The College is situated on Rajawala Road, Selaqui, and approximately 24 Km from Clock Tower.

The college has a large collection of books on various subjects. The Library is well-lit, ventilated, and spacious having a large number of textbooks, journals, manuals, periodicals, and magazines concerning law and allied subjects. The library subscribes to newspapers and periodicals to enable students to keep abreast with the latest happenings and to broaden their mental horizons.

The college has sports facilities for all students. Adventurous sports like white water rafting on the Ganges at Shivpuri (Rishikesh), trekking, rock climbing; winter sports, etc., and tours to historical places in India can also be arranged on the contributory basis provided there is a minimum of 10 students in the group.
