Loyola Academy (LA), a sprawling and leafy campus with excellent infrastructure, managed and administered by the Catholic clergy, popularly known as the Jesuits of the Jesuit Province of Andhra, belonging to the Society of Jesus (founded by St. Ignatius Loyola), the Association International Catholic Order. Loyola Academy was founded in 1976 by Father T. Balaiah SJ in Alwal, Secunderabad, Telangana.

Library:
Loyola Degree & PG College Library is considered one of the sister cities. The current Loyola Library building opened on January 25, 2002. The total area of the library is 1,234 sq. yards. Construction sites. The maximum capacity is 220 people. Student projects, book bank and CPE books are available. 58,200 volumes, 14,550 titles, printed journals - 125, bound volumes/old volumes - 1,350, IDC (OR Information Dissemination Center).The library's digital holdings have grown from 7,500 to 8,100 and include journals, case studies, thematic books, slides and videos accessible via wired and wireless presentation.
Admission:
Loyola Academy Diploma and PG College UG courses ends August 1st. The institute offers admission to its UG and GUT colleges on the basis of an entrance test and personal interview conducted by the institute. Admission to MBA and MCA courses is based on the TISCET entrance exam. In addition, admission to several master’s programs is based on the PGCET entrance exam. Loyola Academy offers BSc, B.Com, BBA, BA, MSc, MBA and MCA courses. The university is known for its bachelor's degree in various majors such as chemical technology, food technology and management, IT and cyber security, etc.
Scholarships:

During 2019-2020, a total of 100 recruiters participated in the Loyola Academy Degree and PG College Secunderabad Placement Drive program. The highest CTCs and average CTCs collected from students are INR 5.5 LPA and INR 3 LPA respectively. The top recruiters who have participated in the internship are IBM, HBL, Dell and Deloitte.
