Infrastructure

A beautifully designed and aesthetically landscaped Wi-Fi campus with sprawling lush green lawns spread over 20 acres amid calm and tranquil pollution-free surroundings creates academic environments for learning and teaching. The whole campus is so well-designed that one can have its complete view from anywhere. Blooming flower beds, shady trees, and playing fountains inspire the students the study in all their earnest.

The main office building connected by a flight of stairs houses the entire administrative block- Reception office with a spacious Visitor’s Gallery, Principal’s Office, Governing Council’s Office, Admission, Guidance and Counseling Cell, Accounts Office all the requisite facilities. The staff is polite and ever-responsive. The distinctive feature of the building is that it has passages and corridors leading to all the classrooms, labs, workshops, library, common rooms, cafeteria, etc. The building is well maintained to ensure all-time cleanliness and hygiene.

Library

• The Ludhiana Group Of College library is the center of all academic activities. LGC has a computerized and air-cooled duplex library. The reading halls are tastefully furnished with a seating capacity of more than 100 users. The serene atmosphere and rows of neatly stacked books about different courses of study, supplementary reading, general reading personality development, etc., attract the students to the library. The library subscribes to many national and international periodicals, magazines on current affairs and general interest, and national and regional dailies to keep the students’ general knowledge updated.

•To cap it all, the library has a highly qualified and motivated staff to help the students in pursuit of knowledge. Books of all trades and subjects are available to students. A student can get the books issued from the library.

•It is stocked with more than 12,500 volumes of textbooks & reference books on various subjects of engineering, management, computer application, general knowledge, and current affairs.

•The Ludhiana Group Of College library subscribes to 25 national and 35 international professional journals, and magazines besides newspapers. The catalog of the books is available on the computerized software online for the users. The acquisition of books & journals to the library is a continuous process. The students are encouraged to read more & more books and are issued books and journals on very easy terms.

Hostel

Hostel facility is provided on the College Campus truly representing the spirit of home away from home where students live in a comfortable & congenial atmosphere. Well well-furnished boys' hostel has been constructed on the college campus whereas the girls' hostel is under construction. The hostel is under the direct supervision of a trained hostel warden to maintain proper discipline, a neat and clean living environment, and security for the students. Special care is taken for their meals. However, for the time being, the boarding and lodging facility for the girl's students has been provided near the campus with the latest furnishing, till the girl's hostel comes up on the campus.

Hostel Rules

•The Ludhiana Group Of College hostel shall be open to regular students on the rolls of the college. The rooms will be allotted on merit.

•The hostel shall be open only to the regular students who are on the rolls of the college. Initially, the rooms are allotted based on merit of JEE (mains) and later on, based on relevant odd semester results.

•On allotment of a room to a student/group of students, they should check all the room fittings, electrical fittings, fixtures, and furniture in the room. They should sign a receipt for the fittings/fixtures and furniture in the room in the record register.

Cafeteria

The Ludhiana Group Of College has provided a spacious area for the canteen and cafeteria. These provide a variety of snacks/refreshments to visitors. These tend to be the most popular places on campus, not only for refreshments but also for student bonding, discussions, and even work on assignments and projects. The college canteen provides delicious and hygienic food at very affordable prices. A canteen is provided on the Campus where Students may relax and chat around in a spacious, clean, and comfortable environment. Students enjoy and gossip in their free time.

Bank and ATM

An ATM of HDFC bank is installed on the campus to help the Students and staff members with their banking needs. Students can easily get the funds transferred into their accounts safely & quickly. All payments of fees etc. are made through the bank & students do not have to keep cash with them.

Placement

•Training and Placement are highly significant components of the teaching-learning environment of a professional institute for the employability of the students in a suitable work environment. LGC has established a TRAINING AND PLACEMENT CELL that works under the overall guidance of a full-time Training and Placement Officer. LGC is fully geared to provide suitable placement opportunities to its passing-out students. LGC promises more than job placement. The curriculum and methodology are suitably designed to aid students in finding enough job opportunities. The institute has strong relations with industry and a good placement team. LGC is aware of this responsibility and makes sincere efforts to prepare the students for their future roles in the challenging multinational work environment.
