Madhuben & Bhanubhai Patel Institute of Technology (MBIT) was established in 2009; contributing to society by making proficient Engineers. MBIT epitomizes the commitment of Charutar Vidya Mandal towards academia and society, the institute professes to add the technical quantum of competent personnel. The institute has charted out a long-term plan to inculcate its core ideology of social welfare and thus emerge as an exemplary Utopia of academics. To achieve real Woman Empowerment, MBIT got conversion from only women to Co-Education from 2019-20. Mr. Prayasvin B. Patel, Chairman, and Managing Director, of Elecon Engineering Company Limited; is the chief patron of this institute and also a president of CVM.

This institute is located in the satellite township christened New Vallabh Vidyanagar. It is a peaceful setup on a lush green belt of the region. The pledge of CVM to bring a renaissance through the means of education has brought a cascading flow of colossal donations from and outside India.

The college has a modern library with 12005 volumes, and 73 Current Periodical subscriptions (Which includes 59 national and international journal). The library is spread over an area of 512 sq. mt. with a seating capacity of 100 students at a time. The Library also has a unique reprographic facility. Student can utilize the library from 9.00am to 5.00 pm on working days.

The Books are arranged according to Dewey decimal classification. Each row of the racks has been labeled with the range of class numbers in the corresponding row.

The periodicals are arranged department-wise. Titles of periodicals are kept in the periodical section.

The boys and girls hostel provides the students with a safe, academic environment for the students of MBIT. Students’ activities are monitored by experienced caretakers. A separate hostel section is formed under the management of the Hostel Management Committee. The Rector who is the secretary of the committee administers the day-to-day aspects of the hostel management.

The hostel has a Superintendent from the Non-teaching staff of the colleges who is responsible for the cleaning, discipline, and maintenance of Hostel Premises and Rooms. The hostel also has two Rectors from the MBIT faculties. A Solar Water heater facility is available.

The hostel mess functions on a yearly contract basis and is fully cooperative with the needs of the students. The hygiene maintained in the mess is according to the high-quality standard. The hostel mess is fully cooperative where the students decide the menu semester-wise. Purified drinking water is available for the students. Membership in the mess is compulsory for students staying at MBIT College.

A well-equipped gymnasium with a trainer is available from 06:00 AM to 08:00 AM and from 05:00 PM to 08:00 PM. Indoor/outdoor recreational & sports facilities are also available. Keeping in view the mental & physical growth of the students, the hostel provides an open ground for outdoor team games & athletics. A natural lawn has been laid to relax and to play games. Indoor games Chess and Carom Board have also been provided. outdoor games we have a cricket set, and badminton.

Hostels provide first aid facilities with all required arrangements for indoor treatment. Surajben Govindbhai Patel Ayurveda Hospital, New Vallabh Vidyanagar is situated within walking distance from the hostels. One ambulance is available on campus 24×7.

A dedicated line with 5 MBPS speed & a dedicated server are available on the hostels’ premises. All rooms of hostels have internet access facilities.

HDFC Bank and ATM facilities are available on campus within walking distance from the hostel.

The security of the students is of prime importance to us. Entire Hostel from outside premises is covered by surveillance cameras to tighten the security of its students. 24 x 7 security guards are available (shift-wise) in the hostel. Regular attendance is taken to keep a personal check on every student by the wardens. An adequate parking facility is available inside the premises for the hostellers.

Placements

MBIT provides full placement assistance to its students. The fundamental objective of MBIT for higher education is to craft and transfer knowledge for the benefit of society. MBIT placement is a four-stage process involving Pre Placement activities, Career acquaintance & Guidance, and Executing Placement Drive and Post Placement feedback.

In addition to providing placement assistance to the students in prominent organizations, we also facilitate the training of our students in the industries during summer and winter vacations, project work for the students in the last year, year college-industry interactions, alumni meetings, participation in the workshop, Tech- fairs, seminars, and conferences, counseling of the students on job opportunities, facilitating industrial tours and inviting eminent speakers to add value in our programs.
