MATERNAL & CHILD HEALTH NURSING LAB:

The manikins are provided to practice abdominal examination, delivery, and episiotomy suture. Our lab is equipped with various instruments which are used for normal delivery, forceps delivery, and for cesarean section. Child Health Lab is having an array of models, simulators, charts, and various play therapy materials. One visit through the lab can explain all the Nursing care skills essential for the care of the new borne, infants, and children.

COMMON LABORATORY:

This laboratory offers an opportunity to learn with the best of automated instrumentation like autoclave, pipettes Petri dishes, glass slides, biomedical waste management model, etc. 

COMPUTER LABORATORY:

It is well equipped with the latest model of advanced version computers with the latest software installed. Round-the-clock net access and online facilities are available for educational purposes.

AUDIOVISUAL FACILITIES:

The Audio Visual Laboratory is equipped with high-tech educational media to support the teaching-learning activities of nursing students. The collection in this regard includes television, overhead projectors, slide projectors, audio/video players, CD players, tape recorders, public address systems, digital cameras, etc. In addition, this laboratory has excellent collections, models, charts, respiratory devices, positioning devices, and other exhibits related to nursing arts. 

LIBRARY:

To be on par with escalating intellectual expectations of our times, MMM College of Nursing is having a spacious library with an adequate seating capacity and has a collection of 4850 books, an E-Consortium facility, and maintains subscriptions to 14 Indian and 5 International journals. We are privileged to have Electronic Resources like e-Journals, OVID journals, etc., in the library which enable students & faculty to obtain the information they seek in the most expeditious and efficient manner. Autolib is used for lending books to students, faculties, and other authorized users.

Transport Facilities:

College of Nursing buses for transporting students to and from clinical postings in other affiliated hospitals and community centers for required clinical experience. 

HOSTEL :

The student accommodation at MMM College of Nursing is a “home away from home”. The stay on campus would certainly provide a wealth of experience by developing qualities such as comradeship and social responsibility. Life on campus helps the students not only to study but also to socialize with their peers. The students housed on the campus are encouraged to use the playground and all indoor gaming facilities.

Admission in Madras Medical College 

Should have passed the qualifying examination (Higher Secondary / Predegree) after a period of 12 years of study from a recognized board / University with science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) and English with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in above mentioned 4 subjects (PCBE) and for SC / ST candidates, the aggregate marks in PCBE subject is 40%. • Only unmarried female candidates are eligible to apply.
