Mahakal Institute of Technology & Management was established in 2007 to provide a platform to the young, dynamic, and talented generation with a subtle aim to enable them to be an integral part of the growing technological revolution and to impart both forms of knowledge i.e. theoretical and practical.

Auditorium:

The Mahakal Group of Institutes has an Open Air Auditorium (Seating Capacity 2000) at the MIT campus. All important functions are held in this auditorium. MIT, MIPS, MIM, MITS, and MITM have spacious in-door auditoriums with hi-tech audio-video facilities to accommodate 500 students in each auditorium.

These beautiful and well-furnished auditoriums are being used for hosting guest lectures by experts and conducting National/International level seminars and conferences. Our students organize several cultural extravaganzas in these auditoriums. These auditoriums have wonderful acoustics and have a warm and welcoming ambiance.

Conference Hall:

An equipped, state-of-the-art conference hall with a seating capacity of 200 is part of the ultra-modern infrastructure at Mahakal Group of Institutes. The Hall is well equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual and presentation tools to facilitate smooth presentations etc. All the colleges of the group have a sufficient number of halls to conduct interviews and group discussions.

Literary & Cultural Activities:

MITM organizes various Literary & Cultural activities around the year. Various inter-departmental competitions are organized healthily to bring out the competitive spirit of students. Such activities provide students with an insight into their personalities. Our main motive behind organizing such events is to build the confidence of the students. They participate in various inter-college/university competitions & win laurels for their respective institute.

Such activities also provide opportunities for students to show their leadership skills. They take the lead and conduct Annual Literary and Cultural activities, Freshers' Parties and Farewell Parties bringing out their best in each. Some types of Literary competitions that are conducted are Creative Writing, Debate, Resume writing, Group Discussion, Extempore Speech, etc which prepare the students for the future. Various types of cultural competitions such as Dramatics, Music, Dance, Flower arrangement, Rangoli, Best out of Waste, etc. are organized for the overall development of the students.

Medical Facilities:

On the MITM Campus, we have a Dispensary with a doctor and medicines for quick treatment. Mahakal Institute of Technology and Management is actively developing a medicinal garden under the able direction and close supervision of our Vice-Chairman, Shri Alok Vashishtha, a qualified and experienced agriculture expert. We aim to ensure the active participation of the students in the development of the garden. This will enable them to study the ecological requirements and the lifecycles of various medicinal plants, and vegetation and enable them to take advantage of the knowledge and experience in their future professional or research careers in “Natural and Alternative system of medicine “, and area of immense interest and opportunities all over the world.

Sports Facilities:

The importance of sports is not hidden from any individual. They play a vital role in shaping one’s personality and maintaining good health. We at MITM have specially developed a sports environment on the campus in such a way that it helps the students in their overall growth. Sports not only keeps a person healthy but also help them socialize, improves their cooperation skills, develops their competitive spirit and boosts their self-confidence, thus helping them to become a better individual.

•Various outdoor games organized at our institute are volleyball, kho-kho, football, cricket, throw the ball, Leg cricket, Kabaddi, Basket Ball etc.
•Various indoor games organized at our institute are Chess, table tennis, Badminton etc.

We are proud that our students have participated in Inter-collegiate Tournaments, Inter-Zone Tournaments, Inter-University Tournaments, and District, State and National Level Tournaments and have won laurels for the campus. More than 200 students on our campus have played in state or national-level sports.

Sports Nodal:

Our campus is the Sports Nodal Center of RGTU. Under this, facilities for various games are provided by us. The team of the best players who win in their respective matches are sent for state and national level sports.

All the Engineering, MBA, MCA and Pharmacy colleges of Ujjain, Ratlam, Dewas, Mandsaur, and Bhanpura, come under the MITM Sports nodal centre. In our Nodal Center, we provide various games and the team of the best players are sent in state and national level sports.

Cafe/Mess Facility:

To satisfy the appetites of the students and to give them a break after a day's hard work, the Institute campus is provided with a relaxing and comfortable canteen. The canteen not only provides the students of the campus with mouthwatering dishes but is also one of the most happening places on the campus with all the students gathering there to discuss their new experiences on the campus. Healthy and hygienic meals are made in the college canteen by a professionally managed catering company.
