Welcome to Maharana Pratap College of Pharmacy Library Kanpur. The Central Library of the Institute occupies a very important place on the campus. It supports study, teaching-learning processes, and research activities. It provides a learning space for the students (UG & PG), faculty members, and staff. Central Library is housed with all modern amenities. The mission of the Library is to provide information services and full text both in digital and printed resources to support the scholarly and informational needs of all students, faculty members, and staff. It is housed in a sprawling three-storied building with a carpet area of 1091.16 sq. m. It has a total collection of over 79664 volumes of books.

Transport

Maharana Pratap College of Pharmacy is well-connected with the state capital. It offers transport facilities to its students and faculty members at very nominal charges. The vehicles ply different routes of Unnao and other Kanpur areas to pick up and drop off the students. Our transport drivers are highly qualified and are licensed by the RTO to drive college vehicles to ensure the full safety of both the students & staff members. The transport Facility is also available for students & faculty members for industrial visits, field trips, and other academic activities.

Hostel

Maharana Pratap College of Pharmacy provides well-furnished hostel accommodation to its students. The hostels have double and triple-seated rooms. Each hostel complex has its separate mess with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area providing hygienic, nutritious, and wholesome meals. Hostels have a gymnasium as well as indoor and outdoor sports facilities. The hostels also have a TV room and library with magazines and fiction / general reading books. Hostels are equipped with eco-friendly solar water heating systems. Hostels also have canteens and provision stores for minor items of the daily requirement. The hostels thus provide reasonable levels of comfort, hygienic food, recreation facilities, and an environment conducive to the pursuit of academic and all-round development.

Scholarship

Scholarship Provisions: The fee structure is the same for all students, but there may be concessions for those who are economically weak. The fee for a b.pharma course in my college is approximately 100000. The scholarship is provided through government scholarship which is conducted by the UP government.

Placement

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like CIPLA, Lupin, mankind, and other well-known companies arrived at my college. The highest package is approx 7.5 lakh and the average package is approx 2.5 lacks offered in placements. 30 percent of students get placed in placements. My plan is to become a research scientist in medicine field.
