Dedicated to the most revered memory of the Father of the Nation and founded by the Nair Service Society in 1948, Mahatma Gandhi College, Thiruvananthapuram, is a premier educational institution where quality education is given new dimensions. It is one of the largest and oldest institutions of higher education in the capital city of the state of Kerala run by the largest educational agency of Kerala, the Nair Service Society. Every student of the first-year Degree and First-year PG classes shall attend the medical inspection arranged at the University Health Centre and get a health report.

There is no campus placement because it is a degree college, but so many interviews are being taken from VSSC and all.
