Mahatma Phule College of Education was established in 2004. The college is affiliated to Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, and recognized by NCTE(New Delhi) & Approved by the Government of Maharashtra. With an annual intake capacity of 100 students (Two basic units of 50 students each).

The course duration of the B.Ed course is two years. The college has a spacious building. Fresh classrooms, ICT, Laboratories, Library, and all Educational facilities are designed as per the needs of the student development. The Admissions procedure for B.Ed. is conducted from April to the end of July every year by the Govt. of Maharashtra or Maharashtra Vinnaanudan Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya Pune. conducts a common Entrance test for Govt. The quota and the management quota are filled through management CET which almost is to be conducted after Govt.CET Our college admits 100 students from Govt.CET & 100 students from management CET. All admissions have been carried with reservations of SC, ST, NT, DT, and OBC, with specified percentages of each caste and class.
