The Mahendra Group with Founder Chairman Thiru. M.G. Bharath Kumar at Mahendrapuri took up this challenge with the social outlook and promoted a Polytechnic - "MAHENDRA  Polytechnic College " in 2005 to educate and provide disciplined technical manpower with specialization for the various sections of engineering and manufacturing sectors. The family has since then committed to the cause of enriching professionalism in various industries to fulfill the long-felt need for such an Institute of far-reaching significance in the industrial - scenario. Library

Well, a furnished library with a good atmosphere for reading is available. We have a good collection of a wide variety of specialized books in every branch of computer, information technology, electrical & electronics, civil, mechanical, and general engineering. The library has over 9000 Indian & Foreign technical & books and it regularly subscribes to many recognized journals books and it regularly subscribes to many recognized journals and periodicals.

Hostels

Separate hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. The hostel has been constructed to accommodate 200 students. The mess is run on a dividing system by the committee of students. A conducive atmosphere exists for studying and enjoying extracurricular activities at the hostel.

Bus facility

The institute is having its own buses for the benefit of the students and staff for their daily conveyance and industrial visits. The buses run from the polytechnic to, Erode, Tiruchengode, Omalur, Namakkal,  Salem, Rasipuram, Edappadi, and Tharamangalam.

Placement cell

The aim of this department is to impart training right from the first year of study and make every student employed in the best industries of their choice. The Department is headed by HR personnel with a wide range of knowledge and experience.
