Malineni Lakshmaiah Women's Engineering College is established in the year 2008. It is a self-financing institution that owes its foundation to the bold and inspired vision of Malineni Perumallu Educational Society, Singarayakonda. The institution is ideally located in a vast expanse of 5.08 acres of land on the outskirts of GUNTUR city at a distance of about 6 Km from the city center. The departmental buildings are located in close proximity to each other with wide open spaces all around. The playfields and other student and staff amenities are within working distance.

Malineni Lakshmaiah Women's Engineering College, (MLEW) aim is to promote Technical Education among women to enhance and build up a new generation of thinkers, innovators, and planners in the realms of Science and Technology. The first floor accommodates Reference books, current periodicals, etc. Equipped with modern infrastructure with a reading capacity for 150 users. Having a collection of more than 20,000 volumes. Air-conditioned seminar hall of 400 capacity suitable for conferences, concerts, guest lectures, arranging workshops, scheduling student meetings, boot camps, hackathons, etc is well-equipped to promote interaction and face-to-face discussion among students, faculty, and instructors by giving them a space to meet and interact with each other.

Admission

All Admissions are provisional and subject to rules and regulations prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time. The admission of any candidate even if made will be canceled if such admission is found to be made contrary to the above-referred rules and regulations at any time. In such cases, the candidate shall not have any claim whatsoever in any manner.

The students are admitted into the four-year undergraduate programs in two categories. The first category, Category-A seats constitute 70% of the total seats in the college. The Category-A seats are filled through Convener, EAMCET, and Andhra Pradesh. The second category, Category-B seats constitute 30% of the total available seats. The Category-B seats are filled by the management through the newspaper advertisement.
