Malla Reddy Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MRIPS), Secunderabad, Telangana is a constituent College of Chandramma Educational Society founded in the year 2005 by Sri. Ch. Malla Reddy is an eminent educationist in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Library:

Library facilities are the heart of any educational institution. Our institution has a beautifully illuminated, well-ventilated, and furnished library with a rich, well-updated collection of books, and national and international journals of repute. This helps the faculty members and students to keep themselves abreast of recent developments in the pharmaceutical sciences. Students have access to numerous reference books Volumes: 8995, journals Titles: 2002, and online journals.

Seminar Hall:

The well-equipped seminar hall is utilized for the conduct of frequent guest lectures and occasional conferences & workshops. Pharmacy has diverse specializations and requires knowledge of several interdisciplinary areas such as medical microbiology, biochemistry, and chemical and genetic engineering technologies. Seminars in all these areas are organized periodically for the benefit of staff and students. The seminar hall has nearly 300 seating capacity.

Classrooms:

The classrooms are well-ventilated with 70 seating capacity. The classrooms of M. Pharmacy & UG final year are provided with LCDs for PowerPoint presentations.

Laboratories:

Malla Reddy Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences has well-equipped laboratories required for all the courses viz., B. Pharmacy, M. Pharmacy. The laboratories are very spacious and were built as per the norms of AICTE, PCI & JNTUH. Each department maintains its specialized labs equipped with modern equipment of industry standards. The College keeps upgrading the facilities and equipment in the laboratories to industry standards, from time to time. Pharmaceutics Lab, Pharm. Chemistry Lab, Pharmacology Lab, Anatomy Physiology and Health Education Lab, Pharmacognosy Lab, Pharm Analysis Lab, Central Instrumentation, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Lab, Pharm Biotechnology and Microbiology, and Pharmacotherapeutics Lab.

Scholarship

The scholarship will be there as the fee reassessment will be given by the individual student and then it will be given by the student and the other facilities in the pragmatic scholarship will be applied online. The scholarship was available for students in case bc, sc, st, or minority students' college fees were cut with this scholarship.

Placement

The placements in our college will come through good higher companies and in our course the internship will be there as in our course there should be in hospital to be done and the internship will be for one year. The placement scenario was good in the times of past 2 years but it is very bad now. The percentage of students who got placed is about 35% VRCM was the company visited till now. There are various companies like Novartis Fizer Reddy for R&D and clinical pharmacist is the main opportunity. However, these companies look for the best and then the pay is just a nice 7 figured accordingly its 1000000 p.a which comparatively is a good amount for a fresher.

Admissions

Under Graduate Courses – B. Pharmacy

A percentage of the seats are filled in through EAMCET on the basis of the rank secured by the candidates. The EAMCET entrance test is conducted by the convener, who is appointed by the Telangana State Council for Higher Education.

A percentage of the seats are filled in by the management under the NRI quota. The eligibility criterion for this quota is that the candidates seeking admission should possess 50% overall or in groups or in equivalent subjects. The preference will be given to the candidates qualified in EAMCET/Merit.

10 % of seats are filled in the Second year through ECET lateral entry scheme on the basis of the rank secured by the candidate.

Pharmaceutical Analysis

A percentage of the seats are filled in through all India-level entrance examinations – GPAT/PGCET on the basis of the rank secured by the candidates.

A percentage of the seats are filled in by the Management under the NRI quota. Under special circumstances, GPAT/PGCET Rank holders will be considered in lieu of NRI Candidates. If there are no eligible GPAT rank holders, candidates will be admitted as per the rank secured in PGCET, and in the otherwise situation candidates who secured 55% or more in the qualifying exam will be considered for admission.
