Manav Bharti University became established in 2009 under the H.P. Residential Accommodation:
MBU offers fully furnished on-campus accommodation for college students, allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis. Shared lodging is available on a cost-sharing basis, typically accommodating 2 to 4 students per room at a monthly fee of Rs 2500. Hostel accommodation is mandatory for first-year students, with exceptions for local students residing with their parents. The well-ventilated rooms contribute to a pleasant atmosphere, promoting a conducive environment for studying and relaxation. Additionally, Wi-Fi connectivity in the hostel facilitates timely completion of tasks, with dedicated PC connections provided. Hostels are overseen by resident male and female wardens, ensuring a safe and conducive living environment. Each hostel block is equipped with 24-hour security surveillance, supplemented by amenities such as solar water heating systems and electrical backup through dedicated inverters. Moreover, the provision of reverse osmosis water purification ensures access to clean and safe drinking water. Residents adhere to fixed timings and strict regulations, fostering discipline and responsibility. In case of medical emergencies, a mini infirmary with 24-hour van service is available to transport students to the hospital.
Library:
MBU boasts a spacious and well-ventilated library housing over 20,000 titles across diverse subjects. The library subscribes to various national and international journals, providing students with access to a wealth of research material. Access to the latest publications and research data is facilitated through 150 computers connected to the World Wide Web, enabling students to conduct comprehensive research and access relevant information for their academic pursuits.
Sports Facilities:
MBU encourages sports activities through organized outdoor training sessions and picnics, fostering an environment of healthy competition and physical fitness. The university provides both indoor and outdoor sports facilities, including amenities for carom, table tennis, chess, volleyball, basketball, badminton, and lawn tennis. Auditorium:
An air-cooled auditorium is currently under construction at MBU, designed to accommodate up to 300 students for various academic and cultural events. Equipped with synchronized LCDs, sound systems, and internet connectivity, the auditorium will serve as a venue for guest lectures, seminars, workshops, and screenings of educational films. Once completed, the auditorium will enhance the university's infrastructure and provide a platform for intellectual and cultural exchange among students and faculty members.
Wi-Fi Campus:
MBU ensures that the entire campus is equipped with Wi-Fi internet connectivity, allowing students to enhance their learning and computer skills through regular use of laptops for research, note-taking, submissions, and presentations. The Wi-Fi-enabled campus facilitates seamless access to online resources, promoting digital literacy and academic excellence among students.
The university has established a dedicated placement cell that maintains close ties with various industries and invites senior R&D personnel from different sectors for campus recruitment drives. The primary objective of the placement cell is to provide employment opportunities and world-class training to students in leading companies. Equipped with adequate infrastructure, including testing and consultancy halls for pre-placement talks and presentations, the placement cell ensures smooth coordination between students and recruiters.
A wide array of reputed companies, including MNCs, regularly visit the university for campus recruitment activities.
