Mangalam College of Education, Kottayam was founded in 1995 and is governed by the Mangalam Foundation, a charitable fund set up to teach the B.Ed course and in December 2006 to run the M.Ed course. self-funded course. The Foundation also operates Mangalam English Medium Higher Secondary School, Teachers Training Institute, Engineering College, Mangalam Management Studies, etc. Their educational complex covers 35 acres of land from which all other sister institutions are free from noise and pollution. The building has just the right number of rooms with just the right amount of furniture. From the beginning, the college has implemented policies to achieve 100 percent achievement each year and to graduate a large number of students with honors.
