Makhanlal Chaturvedi National Journalism and Communication University (MCNUJC) was founded 29 years ago. Continuing a legacy of excellence, it is a leader and pioneer in the fields of mass communications, media, journalism, computer applications, digital media, and management education. MCNUJC was established in 1990 by the Government of Madhya Pradesh and is named after Pt. Makhanlal Chaturvedi is a great editor, poet, writer, and freedom fighter. It is the first academic center of excellence in the entire Asian subcontinent, where professionals in the fields of communication, media, and IT are trained using traditional and modern communication methods, adapted to the needs of today's media.
