MAHE offers admissions in two main categories: Indian/Domestic (General) and Foreign/NRI (International), provided candidates meet the specified eligibility criteria. Admissions are strictly based on merit.
The Foreign/NRI category includes seats reserved for:
Foreign Nationals
Individuals with NRI status
Candidates sponsored by relatives possessing NRI status
Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
Person of Indian Origin (PIO)
It's important to note that the Foreign/NRI/NRI Sponsored category seats do not equate to payment/management/reserved seats.
Important Points to Consider:
Candidates must thoroughly understand and comply with the Eligibility Requirements and Admission Procedures.
Admission is contingent upon fulfilling all eligibility conditions by the candidate. Candidates are responsible for ensuring they meet the eligibility criteria for the chosen course(s) during various stages such as Merit List Preparation, Counseling (online/offline), 1st-year fee payment, Orientation, and Class Commencement (as applicable).
If, during verification, it is discovered that a candidate provided false information, possessed qualifications from an unrecognized Board/University, concealed eligibility-related information, or intentionally delayed submitting marks/grade sheets despite reminders, their admission will be revoked without prior notice, and the paid fees will be forfeited.
Inclusion in the merit list or being called for online/offline counseling does not guarantee admission to a course.
All admissions are solely based on merit, and MAHE (Manipal/Mangalore/Bangalore/Jamshedpur campuses) does not engage any agents, middlemen, or consultants for admissions or related activities.
Any disputes shall be under the jurisdiction of the Udupi court exclusively.
