The state scholarships are available for undergraduate and postgraduate students, providing a monthly stipend of 250 rupees for 12 months. To be eligible, students' parents' or guardians' annual income must not exceed 250,000 rupees from all sources. Additionally, students must have secured top ranks in either the previous qualifying exam or the entrance exam for their respective courses. The scholarship amount is credited directly to the student's bank account at the university campus.
In addition to these state-level scholarships, MDSU also offers other scholarships, such as the Professional Faculty Fund Fellowship. This fellowship provides the same monthly stipend to meritorious students to support their academic endeavors.
