MES Keveeyam College was established in 1981 as an aided, affiliated college under the aegis of the Muslim Educational Society (MES). Before the college came into being, the higher educational aspirations of the young people of this predominantly agrarian and backward area were met by an unaided institution in the parallel stream. The college, which came up on a hilltop near Valanchery, received affiliation and aided status in 1981. Next year it was relocated to the present site for more easy accessibility. From the thatched roof sheds in a water-logged paddy field, the college has come a long way to have adequate buildings and a beautiful, though small, campus which it boasts of now.

Dr.N K Mohammed  Central Library established in 1981 with a separate block is located in a prime area in the campus. The library has a ground floor and magazine floor with a total area of 1059.69 sqm. The reading section is further separated for students and faculties. There is also a Newspaper section, periodical section, reference section, and Network Resource Centre. Reprographic service,  service, and lending service are available. The library is open after the regular working hours including Saturday and Sunday. Admission is given to the public on written request.

Language Lab:

A well-equipped Language Laboratory attached to the English department functions effectively. It aims in facilitating efficient teacher-student interaction to correct phonetic accents and dialects. It also enables them to fine-tune their talents in debating, public speaking, comparing, and other areas of soft skills and personality development. At present, there are 24 terminals for students, apart from the teacher console.

Laboratories:

There are two separate laboratories for M Sc polymer chemistry- one for physical and inorganic chemistry practicals and the other for organic and Polymer Chemistry practicals with a store room, balance room, and preparation room. The laboratory facilities are in tune with the requirements of the latest curriculum. Computers with LAN and internet facility and are also available in the Department. All Rooms in the chemistry block are furnished with an E-Master communication system. Two PG classrooms are virtually turned into smart classrooms with computers, internet connection, LCD projector, and smart board.

Conference Hall:

The fully air-conditioned Conference Hall is furnished with superior-quality furniture in a contemporary style. It used to be the venue for management meetings and staff council gatherings. It also facilitates Group Discussions, Mock Interviews, Debates, and other academic activities.  It is also made available for the public on the written request.

Hostel:

A Student pursuing his / her studies at MES Keveeyam College Valanchery, may reside in Hostel, owned and maintained by the college during the studentship of the academic program. The rules and regulations are framed to ensure that the hostel property is protected; student staying in the hostel is comfortable in a conducive environment for healthy living and discipline is maintained amongst the inmates.

The college provides a cafeteria on the campus. Staff and students can avail the privilege of having good quality food at an economical rate. It is open from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm.

The Fitness Centre under the physical education department has a spacious multi-gymnasium having training equipment like a Bench press parallel, Bench press elevator; Reverse pec deck, Barbell, weights, Weight lifting set, Yoga mat, Ab-crunch machine, t bar Squat machine. Both students and staff of the college can avail the facilities.
