MG College of Engineering is one of the leading self-funded engineering colleges in Kerala. It is approved by AICTE New Delhi and sanctioned by the government. Kerala. The college has been affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) since 2015 and Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) since 2004, which is recognized as one of the most prestigious and internationally recognized colleges in India.

The MG College of Engineering has an extensive library with internet access. The library consists of approximately 10,730 books covering all subjects and references necessary for study according to the curriculum. There are books with 4,235 titles in the fields of electronics, electricity, computer science, civil engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, management, general engineering, etc., as well as national and international journals. 

Computer room: 

The college has three computer laboratories for teaching. One internship is project-specific for freshmen, another for final semesters, and one internship. All laboratories are fully networked and have internet access. Each lab accommodates 45 students in one section, with students assigned to individual systems. The systems used in the computer laboratory consist of high-end configurations. The systems are installed with the regularly updated licensed software.
