The institute recently received 4-year accreditation for all 6 B Tech programs from the National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi. The institute is also accredited by the NAAC with an “A” grade. MGIT is honoured to be conferred autonomous status by University Grants Commission(UGC), New Delhi. Approved by AICTE.

Library
The MGIR Library is considered one of the most resourceful centres in twin cities since it caters to the current educational need on a wide scale. The institute has a duplex library spacious and voluminous enough to house more than 35,000 volumes of books. The first floor has circulation books, newspapers, and backlogs of periodicals while the second-floor houses reference books, current periodicals, etc. It has a modern infrastructure with a reading capacity of 500 students and 35,000 volumes of books. It subscribes to over 180 IEEE, and ASME e-zines and subscribes to over 156 Indian magazines & amp; Printed magazines.
Transportation
MGIT has a fleet of 31 luxury buses, providing transport facilities to the students and faculty from all parts of Hyderabad and Secunderabad making commute easy and enjoyable.

The Placements of the institute have been on the rise since 2005-06. Our Graduates pursue Post Graduate and Research Studies in several institutions of repute within and outside the country.
