MGM College of Engineering and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Valanchery, named after the eminent St. Geevarghese Mar Gregorios, popularly known as Parumala Thirumeni (Bishop of Parumala), is located at Athipatta, Valachery in Malappuram District, Kerala. The college is under the auspices of the MGM group of institutions committed to providing international standards in career guidance. The college is affiliated with the All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE] in New Delhi and is currently under the Kerala Technological University, KTU.

Courses Offered:

The Institution offers seven programs in B.Tech namely, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mechatronics. The annual intake is 300 students. The Institution also offers M.Tech Programs in Computer Science and Engineering, Construction Engineering & Management (Eligibility Degree in Civil Engineering), VLSI(Eligibility Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering), Applied Electronics and Communication Systems(Eligibility Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering).

University competitions are also organized every year. Uni teams also compete in inter-college competitions. In 2020, 21 volleyball and soccer teams competed in the varsity draft event. 

Placement: 

The MGM College of Engineering and Pharmaceutical Sciences Training and Internship Unit hosted a three-day undergraduate internship program from October 26-28, 2021. The main objective of this training program is to develop students' problem-solving skills, develop their communication skills, and provide a solid conceptual and practical framework for building, developing, and managing teams.
