MGM College of Engineering and Technology, Pampakuda, named after the holy king Piravom Valiyapally, is situated on a green and peaceful 11-hectare hill off Muvattupuzha - Piravom Road.  The college is administered by the Geevarghese Yohannan Charitable Trust, which works to provide international standards of career guidance. It became operational in September 2011.
