The School of Technology and Applied Science (STAS) was founded in 1993 by Mahatma Gandhi University. Consisting of three centers (Kottayam, Cochin, and Pathanamthitta) under the direct managing authority of the Center for Professional and Advanced Studies (CPAS), the institute aims to provide quality education and exposure in the field of information. STAS Kottayam offers students global competition at an affordable price. STAS with an academic perspective also focuses on building a sense of social responsibility among students through the organization of workshops, KSW events, and nature camps.
