Millath Teacher Training College, Kollam is the prestigious result of the vision of a group of enthusiastic young people, notably M.M. Shahabidin, President of Millath Education Trust. The College is located in Soornadu, the site of the famous Sooranadu Uprising, the forerunner of the freedom struggle in India, and the birthplace of the famous Malayalam poet Sooranad Kunjanpillai. The college was founded on July 28, 2005, as a self-funded institution. The College offers the finest training courses for a new generation of teachers to serve our youth with vision and sincerity. The College aims to establish a mark of excellence on the educational map of India through the vigorous and tireless efforts of a team of qualified and hardworking faculty. Located in a quiet village, the university is unique and offers everything that future teachers in our country need.
