Moradabad Institute of Technology (MIT) was established in 1996 by Moradabad Educational Trust (MET) with three B.Tech. Programmes having annual intake of 160 students. Now, the institute runs Five B.Tech. Programmes, MBA, with annual intake of 450 students. At present the total number of students in the Institute is 1969. This Institute was among the first four degree engineering colleges established in U.P. under the Self Financing Scheme of Govt. of India.

Library:The institute has a digital library that provides a cozy and peaceful atmosphere for students. The library has more than 5,000 books on various core subjects in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Itis is also rich in a wide range of reference books. The institute subscribed to 20 national/international journals and e-journals. The institute is also an honorary member of the globally recognized digital library network DELNET. The institute publishes an international journal “MIT International Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Medical/Hospital:The College's first-aid facility is provided to students and staff, free of charge. An in-house dispensary is available, with a doctor and compounder on campus for any emergency.
Laboratories:The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for students.
Auditorium:The college has fully air-Conditioned seminar halls and a centrally air-conditioned auditorium.
Alumni Associations:The College ALUMNI ASSOCIATION is framed to facilitate communication between the present students and college Alumni. The committee welcomes the participation of Alumni and encourages them to contact the Association with suggestions and concerns or to nominate additional members. Discuss and recommend ways and means to achieve an increased affinity of alumni to campus. Serve as a resource on matters that relate to outreach and communicate with alumni. Encourage the development of an active communication process by which the opinions and views of the alumni can be accurately vetted. Ensure that the alumni have access to accurate and timely information on MIT programs and initiatives in order to promote active advocacy among the alumni body at large. Assist in the identification of additional volunteers in support of programs. The Association comprises of Patron, President, Secretary, five executive members of the faculty, and two additional student alumni members.
Transport Facility:The College Transport is provided to the inmates of the Boys Hostel for conveyance between the hostel and the institute including their to and fro movements for lunch. Transport is also available for any medical problem of the staff and students.
