Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science is established in 1998 in the picturesque and pleasant environs of Madanapalle and is ideally located on a sprawling 26.17-acre campus on Madanapalle - Anantapur Highway (NH-205) near Angallu, about 10km away from Madanapalle.
MITS was born under the auspices of Ratakonda Ranga Reddy Educational Academy under the proactive leadership of Late Sri. N. Krishna Kumar MS (USA.A), the then President and Dr N. Vijaya Bhaskar Choudary, PhD, Secretary & Correspondent of the Academy.MITS is governed by progressive management that never rests on its laurels and has been striving conscientiously to develop it as one of the best centres of academic excellence in India. The profile of the Institution rests firmly on strategies and action plans that respond to the changing needs of the nation and the student fraternity.MITS enjoys the constant support and patronage of NRI with distinct academic traditions and extensive experience in engineering & Technology.

The Library
Library operations such as the circulation section, and cataloguing section are fully automated using SOUL 2.0 ILMS software developed by INFLIBINET, Ahmedabad. Reading materials are classified according to the Dewey Decimal Classification Scheme (23rd Edition).students, faculty, and staff receive a unique barcode for registration with a library ID card. Library users can use the same identity card for loaning books.
Computer Lab
The requirement of the day is computer Education. Our computer lab has 49 systems and provides knowledge and experience to our students all the time. The lab is open even after college hours providing opportunities for the interested learners to practice and become masters in computer operations. Students utilise the Internet facility to download and prepare for their teaching practicals and use the Net for Powerpoint preparation.
Canteen
This place is very comfortable for all the students to relax for a while. Here are available not only tasty snacks but also stationery and other personal things.
Games and Gymnasium
There is a provision for a gym and some indoor game items are available for the students. There is a period allotted to them, group wise and they utilize this gym as most of the students these days try to keep their body fit with some light exercises. So this place is very helpful for the students in maintaining a good physique and helps in having a sound mind and healthy body.

MITS-Placement Cell concentrates on career exploration, self-assessment, long-term career planning, and developing networking skills, in addition to job search strategies for the short-term. Along with an intense focus on students’ success, the Placement Cell is committed to creating and maintaining positive relationships with corporate employers. MITS-TPC team manages active relationships with companies that recruit students, working to ensure that the recruiting process is smooth, hassle-free and rewarding. In concert with administration, faculty-corporate relations and students, the TPC works continually to bring new companies on-Grounds and to expand existing relationships. The TPC also maintains an intranet that facilitates many technical aspects of the job search, allowing students to manage their search electronically from computers on-Grounds or online. Using the TPC site, students can research companies and contacts, search for employment opportunities, apply for jobs, sign up for company presentations, schedule on-campus interviews and much more.
