E-learning

Candidates can avail of the online lectures and videos available on the official website of the MGC via various schemes such as Swayam, Coursera, IIT virtual labs, etc.

Canteen and Cafeteria

MGC has a clean and spacious canteen that provides healthy, nutritious food at affordable rates. It is open on all working days.

Library

MGC has a computerized library. The library has more than 7000 books and many journals for research work and publications. 

WiFi Campus

The whole campus of MGC has well-connected WiFi which ensures e-learning mode also. Along with it, the e-classroom facility can also be availed. 

Hostels

MGC has separate hostels for girls and boys. The hostels have adequate ventilation, a hygienic mess facility and all other amenities needed by the students.

Scholarships

Modern Group of Colleges has recently started a COVID-19 pandemic scholarship. Candidates getting admission during the pandemic period will get a certain scholarship in terms of fees. Along with it, there is a norm for fee concession based on marks or merit scored by the candidates. 

Scholarship or Financial Assistance is available to the students belonging to the reserved category. The scholarship is also provided based on government schemes such as MCMHS. Candidates belonging to the state of Jammu and Kashmir can avail of the scholarship under PMSSS J&K Scholarship.

Placements

Modern Group of Colleges has a separate and dedicated placement wing that looks after the process of placements in MGC. The Institute has the facility of providing both on-campus and off-campus placements to the students. 

More than 500 companies have visited the campus as of now and students have achieved being placed at some of the top companies like Wipro, HCL, Karachi Bakery, etc. MGC has also started a foreign placement program. 

Foreign students get an opportunity to work in the companies in which they have been placed on Internship Visa, Working Holiday Visa, Undertaking fee for a service, Professional Development Visa, and Occupational Training Visa. 

Admission

Admission into the Modern Group of Colleges is conducted based on the merit list prepared by the institute. No entrance exam is conducted for admission purposes.
