Infrastructure and Facilities

We have separate boarding facilities for the boys and girls with spacious and ventilated rooms. The hostel campus is highly safe and secure. Students are raised in a comfortable environment with individual personal attention by dedicated wardens and teachers. The hostel is provided with modern amenities including a convenient room – that can accommodate four students. All the rooms are bath attached. The tranquil ambiance helps the students to concentrate on their studies and helps them to develop self-confidence, self-discipline, individuality, interpersonal relationship and a sense of direction. The atmosphere ensures a “Home away from Home” feel among the students.

The college has got a well-stacked library which has a carpet area of 25,000 sq. ft. The library has more than 25000 volumes of books and a good number of national and international journals and periodicals are subscribed to enhance the intellectual knowledge of the students and staff. Our college is a member of online journals. The library has also signed an MoU with DELNET to have access to a very rare collection of books. Well-qualified librarians and assistants are always available to render help to the users of the library. The library is computerized and equipped with a Photocopier for taking copies of any relevant article from the reference section of the library. It has got a state-of-the-art digital library with high-speed Internet facility.

The objective of the Canteen and meal service is to protect by reducing the risk of foodborne illness, with proper sanitary conditions, and preventing adulterated food. From the very beginning of the College in 2008, the College Canteen has been functioning efficiently. Hygiene and quality food are the supreme priority at MITM. We provide fresh, nutritious and delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian food for our students and staff. Stringent quality control and strict supervisory methods are practiced to maintain hygienic food by our team of chefs, teaching and boarding staff. As a unique feature, the menu is decided by the student’s committee.

Transportation is another feat of the college and it is operated from all the main towns and cities around the college. The buses are operated from different parts of Bhubaneswar. Special trips are arranged for hostellers during holidays and these facilities are expanded every year.

The college gives due importance to Sports and Games. MITM has state-of-the-art football and hockey ground. Our contemporary basketball court has a flood light facility. Our campus also has advanced facilities for indoor games and all sports activities are guided by well-qualified professionals.

Placement Cell

Training & Placement Cell is the top most priority of MITM and aims at 100 % placement. Our placement cell undertakes counseling, training and value additions to ensure that students are ready to get placed in reputed organizations.
