The library is one of the most important learning centers. we have therefore developed a well-equipped library specially designed to cater the requirements of our students. MIT has a vast collection of text and reference materials, magazines and CD-ROMs to provide a conducive learning ambience.

Computer Laboratory:

The computer labs are fully air-conditioned with computers. The labs are wireless. Students can access the internet through their laptops while sitting outside in the ground through a Wi-Fi system. The systems are configured with a wide range of software not only in compliance of the syllabi but with an intention to create an advanced environment by having is being continuously added to the lab to keep the faculty members up-to-date. In addition, the department provides internet facilities to students & faculty members for the enhancement of knowledge.

Classroom:

At MIT, we provide our students and faculty with comfortable and well-equipped Lecture Halls fitted with high-tech teaching aids. Classrooms are well furnished and equipped with modern teaching audio-visual aids and can accommodate 100 students.

Labs:

The department has the following laboratory fully equipped with its resources as prescribed by the NCTE, viz., Science Lab, ICT Resource Centre, Art and Craft Resource Centre, S.St Lab, Maths Lab, Language Lab, Health and Physical Education Resource Centre and Curriculum Lab.

Events Organised:

The department keeps on organizing various events for its teacher training students from time to time round the year, Seminars, debates, workshops, educational tours, excursions, carnivals, Days celebrations, sports, cultural events, poster making, paintings, slogan writings, taking out rallies, organizing programmes with the help of local police against the increase in the use of drugs among the youth, women sensitization programmes road safety programme etc.

The Department has successfully organized NAAC sponsored National Level Seminar from 22-24 April 2012 on the topic “Quality Assurance of Teacher Education: Initiatives and Mechanism”. The Department organized MIT Carnival in 2018. The department time to time organizes coaching classes for its students for various competitive examinations and also how to face interviews.
