Mount Carmel College is an autonomous college in Bengaluru, India. It is one of the earliest colleges for women, founded in 1944 in Trichur as “Carmel College” under Madras University and transferred to Bengaluru as a private (autonomous) educational institution in 1948 to provide higher education and develop a career in management and science humanities and natural sciences.
