Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology was set up in 1979 located in the Institutional area of Janakpuri, New Delhi and It is a private engineering college. The institute offers B.Tech across four departments. The campus spanned 8 acres of land in a beautiful, environmentally friendly setting.

The six contemporary-day air-conditioned networked computer systems labs cowl complete variety of Computer Science & IT topics like Software Engg., Network Technology, Mobile Computing, Artificial Intelligence & Robotics, computer graphics, building compilers, Analysis & Design of Algorithms, Interface Programming, Data Structure, DBMS & Object-Oriented Programming.

Residential Accommodation:

The campus has well-furnished hostels. The hostels' accommodation to around 200 boys and 100 girls. The hostel facilities like indoor or outdoor games, newspaper, 24*7 electricity, 24*7 security, etc. the hostel provide mess facilities with hygienic food for students.

Library:

The campus has provided a well-furnished library. The Library has a well-stocked completely computerized library with modern-day variations of books via way of means of eminent authors & is having a large series of books on education, management, pc technology, engineering, pharmacy, technology, and arts to cater to the wishes and necessities of the school in addition to students.

Auditorium:

Auditoriums are air-conditioned and well equipped with Audio Video systems. The Auditorium is regularly used for, national and international conferences, teacher and student training programs.

The campus has well-equipped labs. The six modern, networked air-conditioned computer labs. All labs have licensed software such as Visual Studio .Net 2003, Auto Cad 2004, MS Office Professionnel 2003, Oracle 9i, TASM, Orcad, Windows XP. There are many lab Information Technology department labs, Network Programming Lab, Power Systems Lab, Data Structures / Web Engg. Lab etc.

Admission through various entrance exams like

Admission criteria are based on an entrance exam. Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology is based on the candidate's merit in JEE Mains followed by counseling. Applicants must have an overall mark of 55% in 10+2. Candidates who have completed a B.Sc. degree can apply for B.Tech (Lateral) by qualifying IPU CET conducted by IP University.

Placements

The campus provided placement opportunities with good packages. there are many companies visiting Mu sigma, ION trading, Infosys, Amazon, Google, NIIT, Daffodil Accenture, TCS. The highest salary package offered in our course is 42 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Most of the students get selected with a salary package of 12 LPA.
