The Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology, S.M.Nizamuddin Central Library was founded in 1980 and covers 1200 Sq.mts in the second third as well as six levels of the primary building.The Library is having all modern infrastructure structures and facilities, including a reading rooms that can accommodate up to 168 seats. In addition, the Digital Library is having 25 IBM workstations and is connected to 1MBPS Internet facility. The Library has over 52,258 volumes books and subscribes to the 125 journals and magazines printed in print. The Library is a member of the AICTE-INDEST consortium's online E-Journals databases such as IEEE, ASME, ASCE, Science Direct and providing these through The Digital Library and campus wide network to all employees and students.

All Library functions are controlled by software called SOUL software. The Library bought E-Lectures, 120 video lectures, and 135 web-based courses from IIT, NPTEL and Madras. They are making them available through The Digital Library and campus wide network to all faculty and students.

Placement

The college's Placement Cell is responsible for the health of the students interested in placement in India as well as overseas. It Placement Cell mentors students for advanced studies and aids them in obtaining the maximum number of job opportunities.
