The Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT) was established under MUIT Uttar Pradesh Act No. 31 of 2001 Notification no 573 dated 06 October 2001.
Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT) was established under MUIT Uttar Pradesh Act No. 10.31 of 2001 Notification n. 573 of October 06, 2001. The main campus of the university is located at Sitapur Road, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The University has a reputation for providing quality education. His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji was the first Rector of the University.
Recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) & Approval by AICTE.
Maharishi University of Information Technology, Lucknow courses are offered at various levels like Diploma Degree (i.e Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, etc.), Undergraduate Degree (i.e BBA, BCA, B.Tech, B.Com, B.sc, etc.), Postgraduate Degree (i.e MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.com, M.Sc., etc.) Pharmacy Degree (i.e. B.Pharm, D.Pharm) and Ph.D. and many more. Residential Accommodation
Separate boys and girls hostels with high security are available on the university campus. Boys and girls have two hostels with WiFi services for UG and PG, which can accommodate around 450 students each with good infrastructure. A university van and a car are always available to meet new customer needs. A well-equipped gymnasium is set up for the students of the hostel to develop the physical abilities of boys and girls.
The library
the treasury of books and periodicals - is the center of intellectual activity in any institution. The Central Library works for its readers with a concern for creativity and innovation, predecessors of Research and Development. The general library of our college was established in 2000. It has a well-equipped library that accumulates over 45,024 volumes of selected books in various engineering, management, and basic and general science subjects. Audiovisual educational programs and video lessons often take place in the library.
Medical Services and Health Center
MUIT knows that physical health is more important for students to concentrate well on their studies. The College pays particular attention to the health of students. Our college has a health center with all campus facilities and also an experienced doctor who takes care of this health center. The medical service vehicle is always ready on site 24 hours a day.
Canteen
It is speckless and maintained very well. It provides good quality fresh Snacks, cool drinks, coffee, tea, and other food items in a hygienic, healthy way that suits the pockets of the student.
Sport
Physical education is strongly aimed at improving the physical and mental health of each player. This results in the development of dynamic personalities. Sports activities and achievements have helped many people get better job opportunities. The clean area with the natural gift of fresh air is an inspiring resource, motivating the player to perform better. Sports carry the same weight as academics. All sports activities are encouraged by making all facilities available when students participate in intercollegiate, intra-college, and other tournaments.
Bank
MUIT is provided with Indian Bank which is located at the entrance which saves time and energy for students. The ATM which is part of the Indian bank is located near the bank. There are also HDFC Bank and State Bank of India ATMs near the college entrance.
Maharishi University of Information Technology, Lucknow accepts admission through various entrance exams like CET.
The Maharishi University of Information Technology offers scholarships to deserving students and students with exemplary skills in sports, performing arts, or literary skills. Meritcum refers to scholarships that are also available for other categories of students. The University offers meritorious scholarships to applicants based on academic performance in the qualifying examinations prescribed by the University i.e. 10+2 o undergraduate, grade/score/India level admission test/aptitude, and applicants with exemplary skills in sports, performing arts, or literary skills.
The placement season begins in August and continues until May of the following year. Invitations containing relevant information and employment notification forms are sent to industries by the MIRC. Recruiters also connect with us by filling out the company contact form After a company is notified, a list of interested candidates meeting the company's criteria is prepared.
