Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering was established in the year 2006 under the aegis of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies as one of its constituent Schools. NMIMS was established in the Year 1981 by Sri Vile Parle Kevlani Mandal as a Management institute initially affiliated with the University of Mumbai. NMIMS created a niche for itself as a Management School benchmarked for its best practices in Management education in the coming years.

Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering courses are offered at various levels like Undergraduate Degrees i.e Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) Computer Engineering, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) Mechatronics etc. Postgraduate Degree i.e Master of Technology (M.Tech.) Data Science, Master of Technology (M.Tech.) Artificial Intelligence, Master of Computer Applications (MCA). Library:
MPSTME library stands at the heart of the Institute, facilitating teaching-learning, research, and extension programs the Institute. Conveniently located on the ground floor, the well-furnished and air-conditioned library is spread over 2,494 square feet. The library takes pride in stocking all classic as well as updated volumes alongside the most prestigious journals and publications in the field of Technology and Management. The immersive silence in the library reading area resonates with the quickening of young minds with new knowledge and often poignant questions that provide the stimulus for research and discovery.
Lab:
Established “Centre of Excellence in Automation Technologies” in collaboration with BOSCH, Germany, to set up well-equipped laboratories. The Computer Science department managed to get recognition as, "IIT Mumbai Remote Centre" and "The Akash Center" along with Black-Berry Lab installation in the departmental lab.
Hostel:
The NMIMS Deemed to be a University hostel facility includes two full-fledged hostels and three rented residential accommodations (taken care of by the NMIMS University) in Mumbai. , Preference is given to students from cities other than Mumbai. Students are treated with good quality and affordable food in the hostel mess which ensures that food is the least of the worries of the budding engineers of tomorrow.
MPSTME is one of the most preferred campuses for job placements by leading corporates. It has corporate linkages with over 300 companies that regularly conduct campus recruitment for Final Placements and Summer internships. We are passionate about grooming the students not only as efficient professionals but also as responsible citizens. It is our incessant endeavor to make all our students industry-ready.MPSTME provides full placement support to its students in the fields of Management and Engineering.
10+2 (PCM) with a minimum of 50% marks.B.Tech./ BE with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.GATE Entrance Exam + Personal Interview for m.tech. MPSTME offers a three-year full-time Ph.D. research program to candidates with having Master’s degree/ M.Phil. in a relevant field with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Entrance Test followed by Personal Interview conducted by Institute.UGC (NET)/ CSIR (JRF) Examination (for Ph.D.).
MPSTME has corporate partnerships with over 300 companies that regularly conduct campus recruitment for Final Placements and Summer internships. The institute’s Placement Cell organizes pre-placement activities like mock interviews, seminars, conferences, expert talks, etc to prepare the students for the final placement drive. A total of 43 companies visited the institute for B.Tech students whereas 112 recruiters visited the campus for placement drives for MBA students. Some of the recruiters of the institute include Works Applications, Daikin Belgium, Rakuten, Accenture, Blue Star, KPMG, Mahindra Logistics, JustDial, IBM, Reliance Industries Limited, etc.
Scholarships are offered to students from the economically weaker section of society. These scholarships are offered under Central Sector Scheme for those candidates whose yearly family income is less than six lakhs rupees and those who have scored more than 80% marks in the 10+2 examination.
