Musaliar College of Engineering and Technology is a National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accredited engineering and management college run by the renowned Musaliar Education Trust. The Musaliar Educational Fund, a non-profit foundation, was established in 2001 by a group of seasoned educators and technocrats with extensive experience in education and technology. The College is conveniently located on a sprawling campus within the city limits of Pathanamthitta Parish. The campus is easily accessible by road (about a 10-minute drive from Pathanamthitta civilian railway station). Frequent private buses and the KSRTC provide easy and affordable access to the campus.

Library: 

In 2002 the Central Library of the Technical University was founded. The library plays a central role in providing excellent user services, making optimal use of resources, maintaining quality, and enhancing learning, teaching, and research. The library at the center of the campus plays an essential role in the acquisition, organization, and dissemination of knowledge. The Central Library now has a total area of 3,400 square meters with 55 seats and is designed to meet the information needs of teachers, staff, and students. The Central Library has a textbooks department, a lending department, a reference department, and a periodicals department with an extensive collection of periodicals and books. The Linways library management software is used for automation and internal information management. In addition to the central library, each department has its own departmental library for quick access. 

Hostel: 

The ideal hostel should essentially be a home away from home. The friendly living atmosphere contributes significantly to high-quality learning outcomes. Extensive residence hall facilities are available on the Musaliar College campus. The general management and control of the refuges is the responsibility of the Director and the Governor. Each dormitory has a caretaker and an accompanying person. Admission to the dormitory is annual and renewable from year to year at the discretion of the director, who verifies academic status. Whole foods are provided with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and students are provided with food during religious fasting. 

Transportation: 

The College buses operate from 15 locations, covering all pickup points in the city and running at times convenient for staff and students. 

Auditorium: 

A spacious auditorium with 1,250 seats is available on the upper floor of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering on campus. This facility is used for various events and meetings. Internal recruitment activities are also carried out there and each department has a large hall with a total capacity of 60 seats.

Cafeteria: 

The caterer-run Café in the administration building serves vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The cafeteria should not be used as a place for gossip or other recreational activities. Students must purchase meal vouchers in advance. When eating, be very careful not to spill leftovers on the table and floor. Students must leave the canteen as soon as meals or snacks are finished. 

Placement Cell: 

The Placement Unit at Musaliar College of Engineering & Technology plays a critical role in connecting students with potential employers and facilitating the placement process. The cell addresses practices on and off campus and connects students and the industry community to encourage industry-institution interaction. Over a seven-semester period, the Placement Unit runs a series of job placement and employability training programs to prepare students for their future careers.
