Founded in 1994, Muthayammal College of Arts & Science has emerged as an institution of fine learning. Library

MCAS Library was established in 1994. It has 26,551 volumes of text and reference books on various disciplines. The library subscribes to 80 National and International journals and 07 leading Newspapers. The library is following the open access system and provides its service to meet the requirements of P.G.Students, M.Phil., and Ph.D. scholars, and staff members of the College. College Library has various sections such as Reference Section, Textbook Section, Back Volumes Section, Periodicals Section, Question Banks, etc.

Hostel

Separate hostels for UG students, and PG students are available. Hostel rooms are bath attached. Realizing the importance of providing pure and clean water to all students, the Management has set up mineral-water plans at a great cost. Hygienically prepared Vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is supplied to the hostellers.

Sports

Necessary equipment and facilities for regular practice. Gymnastic equipment is provided in our college. Fee concession to the students admitted in the sports quota (those represented national, State, Divisional, and District level tournaments after evaluation) Uniforms to the participants free of cost. Special prizes to the University, State, and National participants.

Placement

Eligibility for campus placement is must have nil arrears up to the 4th semester. From the 4th-semester placement guidance will be given. I visited TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Capgemini, American Express, Aakash Byjus, Atos Syntel, Mindtree, Sutherland, Zoho & Wipro. From the above-mentioned companies I got offers from three they are TCS, Infosys & Aakash Byjus.
