Muthayammal Educational Trust was founded in the year 1984 by our beloved Founder and Former Chairman Late. Thiru R.Ramasamy at Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District. The trust was named after his beloved mother Late Tmt. R.Muthayammal with the objective of imparting technical education to rural and underprivileged youths in his native village.

The founder was Late Thiru. R.Ramasamy was a successful businessman in the field of Civil Engineering and his firm Jothi & Co., Chennai was one of the most reputed names in Chennai Metro Water Board. He realized the need for education particularly technical education in his native village to uplift rural youths, he set up Muthayammal Polytechnic College.

Now Ranked as one of the top polytechnic colleges in the state for the past 21 years, It has educated more than 30000 students since its inception. He expanded the horizon in the field of education by setting up Muthayammal Memorial College of Arts &Science and Muthayammal Industrial Training Institute at Rasipuram. He also founded M.R. Matriculation Hr.Sec.School Chennai in the year 1987 and now educating more than 2000 students.

Cafeteria:

A well-furnished and spacious cafeteria is available inside the campus to cater to the needs of the students, staff, and visitors. Meals and other refreshments are available in the canteen from 06:00 A.M to 07:30 P.M.

Transport:

A fleet of 49 buses is operated to offer pick-up and drop facilities, for the convenience of our faculty, staff, and students. The buses operate within a radius of 120 km.

Placement:

The training cell focuses and functions to train the students in all scales, including attitude, aptitude, and reasoning. Students are trained by external trainers from I year onwards. Special courses are conducted by the training experts in General Aptitude, Technical Aptitude, Group Discussion, Quantitative, and Reasoning. Technical aptitude session consists of C, C++, C SHARP, JAVA, J2EE, CATIA, ANSYS, .NET, PRO- E, AUTO CAD, PRO- STADD, Solid Works, PLC-SCADA, VLSI, and DSP. Regular mock interview sessions are conducted every week by corporate trainers.
