Nalanda University Facilities 

Library:

The Nalanda University library operates by providing a conducive environment and high-speed internet connectivity. It is fully automated, utilizing KOHA ILM software, and offers locker room facilities for students. While still in the developmental phase, the library is rapidly expanding, aiming to become a hub of activity for students.

Cafeteria:

Recognizing the significance of nourishment during classes and exams, Nalanda University prioritizes food services with a hygienic cafeteria within the main building. Students can conveniently grab a bite and refreshments between classes, emphasizing healthy and appealing food options. The cafeteria operates on weekdays from 9 am to 7 pm.

Hostel:

Nalanda University currently features five hostels: Ananda, Tathagat, Ajatshatru, Nagarjuna, and Maitreya. These hostels operate under lease agreements with the Government of Bihar and private entities to accommodate the growing student population. Tathagat hostel is exclusively reserved for female students, while the remaining facilities cater to male students.

The hostel accommodations include air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms, available in both shared and single-sharing arrangements. Furnished rooms, complete with attached bathrooms, offer a comfortable living space. Additionally, separate dining halls provide nutritious and delectable meals for students.
