The National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) was established in 1998 by a Statute of the State of Andhra Pradesh. Since its inception, the University has been home to vital conversations on law and justice.
The National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) was established in 1998 by an Act of the State of Andhra Pradesh. Since its inception, the University has been the seat of vital conversations about law and justice. These conversations recognized that questions of justice arise in all legal activities, whether in the world of courts, business, education, or administration.
Approved by the Bar Council Of India (BCI).
The National Academy of Legal Studies and Research Hyderabad courses are offered at various levels like Postgraduate Degree (i.e MBA., etc.), Law Degree (i.e. BA-LLB, LLM, etc.) and Ph.D. and many more. Counselling Centre
Dr Varudhini Kankipati, Ph.D. (Counseling Psychology) (University of Kentucky, USA), is our academic counselor who visits campus twice a week, even during holidays. Saher Ali M.Sc (holistic psychological counselor) and art therapist is our therapist and visits our campus once a week. She also leads art therapy sessions to provide you with copying skills to deal with your stress. It goes without saying that all communication with you is strictly confidential. Medical Services and Health Center
NALSAR has a general practitioner, Dr L.E.J.Chandrasekhar, and a gynecologist, Dr M.Lakshmi, who visits campus three times a week, as well as a full-time residential nurse to attend to students' medical needs. The nearest hospital, MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences, is less than 10 km away and the university has its own emergency ambulance.
The National Academy of Legal Studies and Research Hyderabad accept admission through various entrance exams like CAT, GMAT & GRE.
At NALSAR, we recognize the importance of internships and placements in shaping the careers of our students.We have partnered with leading and future organizations where the legal skills developed in law school can be tested and honed by our students. In previous years, top law firms and niche companies, both Indian and internationally: companies, public sector companies, regulatory bodies have regularly recruited within NALSAR.Our vision is not only to continue and strengthen the relationship with our existing recruiters as we strive to broaden our recruiting base by also engaging in conversations with organizations and individuals who have never been recruited before.In doing so, our goal is to accommodate the diverse interests of our students by trying not to simply corporations and law firms, but also legal professionals, legal and policy research organizations, and even various stock exchanges.
The University in all its years of existence has attempted varied strategies to create a vibrant scholastic environment. We continue in honest reflection on what works and what does not as we strive to realize our aims and objectives.
NALSAR is committed to the creation of an ethical legal culture, which protects and promotes the rule of law. The social justice agenda is no laughing matter but the University believes that the cause of building a rule of law society is a continuous enterprise, which is sustainable if it is undertaken with optimism and good cheer.
