The National Teacher Training College was established in form and substance in 2005. The College is located in Meprathupada, a beautiful Taluk suburb of Kunnathunad on the Perumbavoor – Kolenchery road. Located seven kilometers from the city of Perumbavoor, the college is easily accessible as many K.S.R. Both T.C. and private buses run regularly on this route. The college also offers a dormitory. The nearest train station is Alwayse, which is only 25 kilometers from the college. College, affiliated with Mr.G University and NCTE accredited enjoys an enviable reputation as one of the premier institutions in Ernakulam District. Currently, the combined admission for B.Ed and M.Ed is 50. As per Kerala Government policy, 50% of the seats are reserved for Merit Quota and the remaining 50% for Director Quota candidates.
