Laboratory
This Laboratory is comprised of highly skilled lab personnel. With the help of the latest equipment and instrumentation trained personnel are able to demonstrate the chemical reaction and counter-reactions of different precautions to avoid fire that can be implemented in the presence of various hazardous chemicals as well as electrical equipment. The B.E. (Fire) students from the college also carry out diverse experiments in the area of Fire Prevention and Fire Protection that involve studying Chemical Extinguishers Foam Compounds and Dry-Powders and test them in accordance with the current Standards of India.
Wireless Communication Laboratory
This lab houses almost every kind of Radio Receivers and Instruments including static and mobile Radios Wakie Talkie Sets Chargers, wave analyzers and other communication equipment's that are used by firefighters in the field of fire. Trainees are exposed to the operation and maintaining these devices. Since this is an in-place station, a lot of tactical training is conducted with the equipment that is placed within the mobile Control Van .
Paramedics Laboratory
The in-depth, hands-on and theoretical instruction is provided to students by an expert in these areas to help them tackle any medical emergency that may arise. Anatomy and First Aid burn Injuries, Study of Disinfections, Stretcher Drill, Paramedical care (Animal Bites, Injuries, Fractures, Wounds, Unconsciousness and more. ), Role of Fire Officers in Nuclear, Chemical & Biological Disasters, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Training. Students also visit hospital under the direction of the Chief medical officer of the school.
Films and Videos
The students in NFSC receive exposure to a variety of fire fighting activities live through its more than 130 instructional films about fire fighting and prevention, as well as videos and films on fire protection. Overhead projector sand Side Projectors are installed in class rooms for this purpose , and as a way to display the transparent slides or slides to trainees.
Workshop
I.C. Engine, Gear Transmission, Primers, Cut model Pumps etc. are a few of the machines located in the Workshop at the College. Other than that, Workshop also houses a range of machineries and tools. Equipment needed for the maintenance and repair of equipment and appliances of the college. The workshop also offers local refilling equipment for its Breathing apparatus , Cylinders. The students are exposed to different electrical and automobile tools that are available at this workshop.
