Training & Placement of National Institute Of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Shillong

Every year, a centralized placement drive is organized for all the NIFTs. There are two options for the students to opt i.e. Pre Placement Offers (PPOs) or On-Campus Placements (OCPs). PPOs are made when students undergo any training/ internship in any organization as part of their course curriculum.

The highest package offered to the students in the previous year was INR 5 LPA whereas the average package was INR 3.88 LPA. Some prominent recruiters in the placement drive were Amazon, Raymonds, Reliance, Aditya Birla Nuvo, Snapdeal, ITC, TVS Motors, VIP, Nokia, Titan, Future Groups, and many more.
