National Institute of Securities Market Admission Process:

Scholarships at the National Institute of Securities Market:

1. Merit Scholarship: Students securing the 1st rank in the preceding degree exam, where at least 120 students have taken the exam, are eligible for a 50% tuition fee waiver in the first year.

2. Economically Backward Students: Those with meritorious academic records and a parent/guardian income below Rs. 4.00 lakh per annum can avail of a 50% tuition fee waiver in the first year.

3. Local Area Students: Students from Raigarh (MH) district admitted to the PGDM-SM program receive a 30% tuition fee waiver in the first year, without eligibility for hostel accommodation.

4. Fee Waivers Based on Admission Merit Criteria: Students with a 1st Class or above in graduation, along with CAT/XAT/GMAT scores of 75 percentile & above, or other eligible test scores of 80 percentile & above, are eligible for tuition fee waivers up to 50% in the first year.

5. SC/ST and Backward Class Students: Students from these categories receive a 50% tuition fee waiver in the first year, provided they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria for selection.

6. Children of SEBI-Registered Entities Employees: They are eligible for a 30% tuition fee waiver in the first year.

7. Children and Spouses of SEBI/NISM Staff: They receive a 40% tuition fee waiver in the first year.

National Institute of Securities Market Placement:

This year, the National Institute of Securities Market conducted its placement process through both online and offline modes, with 40 companies actively participating. Students were offered diverse roles including Treasury Dealer, Compliance Officer, Surveillance & Investigation Officer, Wealth Manager, and Financial Advisor, among others. The diligent efforts of the placement cell resulted in the placement of all students who opted for placement, with only 5 students remaining unplaced.
