Nedurumalli Balakrishna Reddy Science & Arts College was founded by the late Padmasri Nedurumalli Bala Krishna Reddy, a visionary and Philanthropist with a great missionary mind in the year 1965 under the banner of Harijan Vidyardhi Uddaraka Sangham to uplift the downtrodden.  His indomitable determination and unfailing faith are the two pillars to realize his dreams of fulfilling the needs of the unprivileged.

Residential Accommodation

The hostel is on campus. There are 32 living rooms which can accommodate 5 students in each room, provided with a writing table, chair and a cupboard. There are sufficient toilets, bathrooms and washbasins with running water. There are two dining halls and a modern kitchen. There is a beautiful chapel also in campus to meet the spiritual needs of the inmates

The Library

NBKR Science and Arts College, Vidyanagar has its excellently equipped library housed in a second-storeyed building. It is well-ventilated and furnished with a pleasant academic environment. The library has a collection of over 12,000 books, over 200 journals, over 600 memoirs, and 4,000 back issues of magazines and CDs and DVDs. 

Computer Lab

The requirement of the day is computer Education. Our computer lab has 49 systems and provides knowledge and experience to our students all the time. The lab is open even after college hours providing opportunities for interested learners to practice and become masters in computer operations. Students utilise the Internet facility to download and prepare for their teaching practicals and use the Net for Powerpoint preparation.

Canteen

This place is very comfortable for all the students to relax for a while. Here are available not only tasty snacks but also stationery and other personal things.

Indoor games and Gymnasium

There is a provision for a gym and some indoor games items are available for the students. There is a period allotted to them, group-wise and they utilize this gym as most of the students these days try to keep their bodies fit with some light exercises. So this place is very helpful for the students in maintaining a good physique and helps in having a sound mind and healthy body.
