Established in 2019, NEF College Guwahati is a virgin institution of the NEF Group of Colleges administered by the National Education Foundation Trust, Guwahati. The College aims to provide quality education, training, and research in the pharmaceutical sciences to meet the needs of students, pharmacists, pharmaceutical organizations, and healthcare professionals.  The college is located on a self-contained campus with a built-up area of approximately 34,000 square feet in the Lokhra district of the city of Gauhati. It is well connected to the city center by road.NEF College, Guwahati was established under the National Education Foundation (NEF) Trust. The NEF Trust is an educational charity organized under the Indian Trusts Act of 1882 and u/s 12A of the I.T. Act, of 1961. One of the primary aims of this Trust is the provision of quality education and it seeks to achieve this through the establishment of a number of schools and colleges. The NEF College in Guwahati is another small step in this direction. This college offers courses ranging from high school to postgraduate general and professional studies. Line. from Assam to the Ministry of Education provided the necessary NOC document No. AH.780/2017/72 of January 25, 2018, opening the College to the introduction of TDC and PG courses in the Arts, Sciences, and Commerce curricula. The government also has the blank NOC no.AEE.432/2016/313 of February 27, 2018, opening the B.Ed.and D.El. Ed. college course. Gauhati University has also granted the college the necessary permits and provisional membership as of the 2018-19 session. 

The Assam Board of Higher Secondary Education has already licensed the college to offer Higher Secondary (HS) courses in Arts and Commerce.

Students from Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, and Arunachal Pradesh pursuing other majors at our university are awarded Post-Matrix Scholarships by their respective state governments. Assam students of the S.C.  and ST and minority communities have also benefited from government grants. from Assam. 

Students belonging to minority communities are also eligible for the Merit and Means Scholarship awarded by the Ministry of Minorities, Govt. Indian. In addition, the NEF Trust offers fee waivers to poor and deserving students.
