NEF College of Pharmacy, Guwahati established in 2019 is a pristine institute of the NEF Group of Colleges run by National Education Foundation Trust, Guwahati. The College aims to provide quality education, training, and research in pharmaceutical sciences to meet the needs of students, pharmacists, pharmaceutical organizations, and healthcare professionals.

The College is located in a self-contained campus with a built-up area of about 34,000 sq. ft area at the Lokhra area of Gauhati City. It is well-connected by road from the city centers.

NEF College of Pharmacy is affiliated with Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences, Guwahati, and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. The College is also approved by the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Assam.

Classrooms

The College comprises of spacious and well-ventilated rooms with modern infrastructure and comfortable sitting furniture. The institute has organized spacious classrooms in a peaceful environment with comfortable seating and is well-equipped with LCD projectors, whiteboards, and Wi-Fi-enabled systems making classroom learning an engaging and unique experience for all. We have also established a Digital Classroom with an interactive panel for a better experience with improved online teaching-learning interaction. The Digital classroom is also used to organize online guest lecturers which will help the students to interact with experts from all over the world in real-time to gather knowledge and clarify their doubts.

Seminar Hall

The College has well-furnished seminar halls with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment. Regular guest lectures by dignitaries of national and international stature are arranged. Personality development and communication skill workshops are also organized regularly. The college believes in the overall development of the students.

Library:

The College is having a spacious and well-furnished library which is automated that contains more than 3,000 books on Pharmaceutical and allied subjects. It has a facility of a book bank system. The library provides 10 journals/periodicals and 9 dailies of various languages. Besides these, the library provides internet facilities also. The library works on all days except Sundays and holidays.

Computer Laboratory

The computer laboratory in the College is equipped with the latest computers and a high-speed internet connection is available to enable students to widen their knowledge with regard to the latest technological innovations in the field.

Herbal Garden

NEF College of Pharmacy is rich with a well-settled herbal garden, having several numbers of medicinal plants for the purpose of almost all therapeutic value. It has more than 100 different kinds of herbs showing their medicinal value. It provides an opportunity to students to enhance their traditional knowledge by studying their medicinal values. Plants aloe, sarpgangha, satvari, tulsi, giloe, behera, arjuna, dhutura etc. are planted there.
