Infrastructure and Facilities:

NIE Institute Of Technology, Mysore, has a large and well-maintained campus and offers a tranquil learning environment. The buildings are modern and equipped with the latest technology from NIE Institute Of Technology, Mysore, which facilitates teaching and teacher development. Residential Accommodations:

NIE Institute Of Technology For the young men and women who reside at NIEIT hostels, it’s the camaraderie, the facilities, and the support system that makes the hostels a place to call home.

The Institute has constructed two brand new hostels – one for boys and another one for girls with all modern amenities. Both the hostels are located within the campus.

1. The boys’ hostel building is G+4 floors, with 49 triple accommodations, 2 double accommodations, and 4 guest rooms.

2. The girls’ hostel building is G+4 floors, with 40 triple accommodations, 2 double accommodations, and 4 guest rooms.

3. All the rooms have attached bathroom and toilet facilities.

4. The hostel buildings have 24×7 hot water facilities.

5. The hostel buildings are Wi-Fi-enabled with TV rooms and a sports room.

6. A laundry facility is available

Library:

NIE Institute Of Technology Library has always believed in balancing tradition and modernity, staying rooted yet embracing the advantages of modern technology. Every aspect of the college and its infrastructure has been designed with this vision in mind – to be a world-class learning resource center in the area of Engineering Education and Research. The Library facility has been developed and upgraded over the years to reflect this vision. Over 20865 books, seating capacity for 100 people, E-Learning Centre, reference and regional language books section, OPAC Search facility, subject books, journals, integrated databases, CDs/DVDs, e-books, e-journals, reports, reference question papers, bound volumes, project reports – the NIEIT college library has a vast collection of resources at the student’s disposal. Students can also access external resources through DELNET and VTU Consortium to which the college has a membership.

Digital Library:

NIE Institute Of Technology A digital library is a managed collection of information, with associated services, where the information is stored in digital formats and accessible over a network. Central Library is a part of the institute-wide network. The library has 10 computers and other accessories adequate to cater to the needs of users & are meant for users to access OPAC, databases, e-books, e-journals, and other e-resources. The Central Library has been Wi-Fi enabled to provide wireless access to the Internet. Users are welcome to use their laptops in the library.

Cultural Club:

NIE Institute Of Technology hosts cultural events throughout the year, for its own students as well as those from other colleges. The annual inter-collegiate fest ‘IGNIEIT’ is one of the most popular among students in and around Mysuru. The campus hosts a multitude of cultural events such as music fests, theatre workshops, quiz shows, and more every year to encourage students to explore their talent in fields outside of academics.

Technical Student Clubs:

At NIE Institute Of Technology, we encourage students to explore the field of engineering and technology beyond what they study as part of their academic courses. Technical extra-curricular activities such as quizzes, technical talks, workshops, and subject matter expert lectures are conducted regularly to instill the spirit of innovation within students. Sports Facilities:

NIE Institute Of Technology The Department of Physical Education Achieve and Organize Various Sports Games, NIEIT Provides an Environment for the Disciplined and Integrated Development of Sports, Both Staff as well as Students of NIEIT to Excel in Sports and Fitness Programs. It Educates and trains Students and staff for Physical Fitness, Health, and quality of life through physical activity and a healthy Lifestyle. NIEIT has provided the necessary infrastructure to the Sports and Physical Education Department on par with any Physical Education Department of any University.
